BLACKOUT is a hardcore FiveM zombie survival roleplay server. Noise draws them. Light gives you away. Survive the sector.
The situation
The evacuation order came at 04:12. By 06:00 the bridges were gone and the emergency broadcast had stopped pretending anyone was coming back for the people still inside the cordon.
What is left of the county runs on generators, rumour, and whatever you happened to be carrying when the lights went out. There is no safe zone. There is no extraction. There is a radius around every sound you make and a number counting down in your blood.
Noise draws them. Light gives you away. Everything worth having is somewhere you should not go, and the people who got there first are not interested in sharing.
You are not a hero here. You are a person with a torch, a limited number of batteries, and a decision to make about how long you intend to keep going.
Systems
Eleven interlocking systems decide whether you last the night. None of them are cosmetic, and none of them forgive being ignored.

Every action carries a radius. A suppressed pistol reaches forty metres, a car door twice that, an unsuppressed rifle most of a district. The infected do not see well, but they hear everything, and they remember where the sound came from long after you have moved.

Nine strains, each with its own behaviour tree. Walkers shamble and swarm. Sprinters close ground faster than you can reload. Screamers exist only to call the others, and killing one quietly is the difference between a bad night and your last one.

Wounds carry a viral load that climbs on a timer. Early stages cost stamina and steady aim. Late stages take your vision and then your character. Antivirals are rare, refrigerated, and worth more than anything else you are carrying.

Hordes migrate on a server-wide schedule and are broadcast on the emergency channel before they move. A migration through a settled area is a scheduled disaster: everyone knows it is coming, nobody has enough ammunition, and the streets change hands afterwards.

Blood, sweat and cooked food leave a decaying trail the infected can follow. Fighting wounded means being followed. Washing in the reservoir, changing clothes and burning refuse are not roleplay flourishes here — they are how you stop being tracked home.

Batteries do not respawn in your pocket. Torchlight is visible from three hundred metres and draws every hostile with line of sight, including the living. Most survivors learn to move in the dark and save the light for the moment they genuinely need it.

Sprinting is a resource, not a movement mode. Broken limbs need splints, blood loss needs pressure, and both need time you rarely have. Carrying too much turns a two-minute retreat into the reason your squad is looting your body.

Claim a structure, reinforce it, and accept that anything you build is a target. Walls degrade, generators need fuel, and noise from your workshop travels. The safest bases are the ones nobody has a reason to look at twice.

Loot quality scales with how badly you want to leave. Residential blocks feed you. Police stations arm you. Military sites and hospitals hold what actually matters, and they are exactly where the density system puts the most infected.

Characters improve at what they actually do. Medics get faster at stabilising, engineers get more from salvage, marksmen steady sooner. Progression follows behaviour rather than a menu, and it dies with the character.

The map is graded from green outskirts to black city core. Density governs spawn rate, variant mix and loot tier together, so risk and reward are the same dial. Nobody makes it in the black alone, and most people who try do not come back.
